LED light bulbs are, as you know, semi-conductors –similar to a computer chip. They are treated, or injected with chemicals that will determine their light color; warm white, cool white, orange for example.
LED changes most of the energy passed through them into light. Incandescent lights produce light as a by-product of being heated. The result means saving for you and they are up to 90 per cent more efficient than the standard light bulbs.
